From antiquarians to treasure hunters, from early scholars to modern archaeologists, it is amazing how far 'Archaeology' has come. The talk will include personal experiences of Archaeology in the 1990s at sites such as Castell Henlys, Dolforwyn and Sutton Hoo.
Views: 15 | Enquiries: 0I've a life long interest in archaeology and history and I am a graduate of the University of York. I have experience in excavation, guiding walks and speaking to groups. A former teacher with 25 years experience, I was the chair of local community archaeology groups. I have given talks at the East Lancashire Western Front Association. I am particularly interested in the industrial archaeology and social history of the area around Burnley, Lancashire, and the First World War.
