We'll explore how photography can be used to challenge injustice, amplify marginalized voices and inspire collective action. Through their photos, artists can use the camera not just to show the world, but to change it. The photographers included in the presentation are: Gordon Parks (US 1912 - 2006), Sebastião Salgado (Brazil, 1944 - 2025), James Nachtwey (US, b.1948), Zanele Muholi (South Africa, c.1973), JR (France, b.1983). The talk lasts for 1 hour, including Q&As.

Roberta’s love for art and architecture borders on "obsession"—and she’s happily embraced it! Her special passion lies in Modernist architecture, which led her to earn a Graduate Certificate with distinction in History of Art and Architecture from Birkbeck University. That was actually her second degree—her first career is in Economics, with over 20 years of experience in the fast-paced world of financial markets. Now, she channels her energy into making art and architecture not just informative, but fun, relatable and engaging for everyone. She’s the founder of Art Tours with a Theme – ART wiT, a London-based project offering themed tours and talks that bring the city’s creativity to life.
