This presentation will discuss the awards of three Victoria Crosses to officers in the Hampshire Regiment in WW1. The talk will review the subject’s background, the action in which they were awarded the VC and what happened to them afterwards. It also includes some interesting facts about the founding of the medal and the recipients.
