In December 1937 teenager, Sheila Sutherland set off on her bicycle from Dilton Farm in Boldre to buy some groceries in nearby Brockenhurst. When she failed to return home a search was organised and the following day her body was found in a shallow pond. This talk reviews the circumstances around her murder and the subsequent court trial.
