Why should artists represent money in their paintings? Actually there are a lot of reasons for that, from ancient religious representations to contemporary art. We will look at a number of artworks across different periods, with time for questions and interaction:
- Biblical stories: Renaissance with Masaccio, Baroque with Caravaggio
- Everyday's Life: the Dutch Golden period, Renaissance, Baroque
- Political satire in 1700's
- Pop Art : Warhol, Lachapelle, Banksy
- New artists today.
