There is little public information and awareness about the power of nutrition and lifestyle in helping women manage their menopausal symptoms. Much of the media focus is on hormone replacement based on the misguided notion that it's all about a hormone deficiency - it is not!
I was unable to take HRT as I have a history of breast cancer and many women cannot or do not want to take it either. Even if you do take hormones, the diet and lifestyle factors are equally as important and can result in taking lower doses.
My experience in clinic with my clients shows how powerful natural solutions can be with or without additional hormones, so women are missing a trick if they're not taking a full-body (holistic) approach.
In this talk which can be from 30 minutes to 1-2 hours and works well as a workshop I cover all of these points, including the 5 key nutritional pillars that underpin hormonal balance.

I run a private clinic working with women and men with a range of health concerns and have also worked within the NHS on the Diabetes Prevention Programme as a health coach.
I am an ambassador for the Public Health Collaboration charity [phcuk.orc] and run courses for local GP surgeries and their patients, helping them to lose weight, lower their blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol.
I regularly give talks, workshops and interviews on a range of health related topics, including menopause and perimenopause; how to lose weight healthily and sustainably, managing and reversing osteoporosis, how to get a good night's sleep, healthy ageing, preventing dementia etc.
