This is Ray's second 'Scottish Journey' and, using pictures, we travel north from Carlisle to Glasgow over the Beatock summit, loop arround the South-West, Scotland then proceed north again to Aberdeen taking the routes of many of the earliest rail-links north of the Border. All with steam traction, and taken on my c.25 visits over the border from 1963 to now. The second of Ray's trilogy of Scottish talks

Talks are generally associated with trains (mostly nostalgic steam) the railways themselves and associated historical aspects. Most talks were planned for railway interest groups but can be tailored to audience, whether knowledgeable on rail subjects or not and using both Ray's own photo material and other sourced images.
