“Permaculture? Isn’t that just gardening?” — Not quite. Permaculture is a design framework based on how nature thrives — principles that apply just as well to software, teams and organisations as they do to soil.
In this session, we’ll explore the core ethics and principles of Permaculture: Earth care, people care, and fair share — and how these can inspire regenerative approaches to the way we work, build, and collaborate.
We’ll go from compost to code, and forests to feedback loops — seeing how nature’s patterns offer powerful clues for designing resilient, waste-reducing, and adaptive systems. You'll leave with practical ways to reduce friction, complexity and burnout by aligning with living systems logic.
Let’s reframe productivity around life-centred design — so we don’t just sustain what is, but actually regenerate what could be.
