For leaders, managers and staff at all levels (it can be delivered for a specific audience if preferred) For a long time we’ve known about the impact and importance of making connections with people around us. Whether shy or outgoing, introvert or extrovert, having those in our lives we can open up to is one of the biggest indicators of wellbeing.

During Covid and other worldwide challenges, we’ve seen people realising this even more… and yet new challenges and obstacles to making those connections have emerged.

In this session we will look at the evidence behind why connecting is important, explore ways of making the most of our connections (it’s quality over quantity) and use the session itself as a way of getting the conversation started.

We all prefer to connect in different ways, so please rest assured that I will do my best to ensure that the session is run in a way which suits those who are naturally more outgoing, those who prefer to sit and listen, and those in-between!

“Tom is knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining when he spoke to our team about connection and loneliness. He brought some important topics to our discussion and encouraged people to discuss their feelings on the subject in confidence. I would highly recommend Tom and would love him to come in and talk about more subjects in the future.”

Hi, I'm Tom

Whether you’re looking for workshops, training or a wellbeing strategy for your organisation, or some individual 1:1 support, I look forward to finding out how I can help you.

You’ll find I’m passionate about mental health, wellbeing, personal development & empowering others.

My style is friendly, accessible and professional, combining lived experience, professional knowledge, & high quality teaching and training skills.

After extensive experience within Business, Education, Leadership & Psychology I set up my own business to support people with wellbeing, personal development and mental health.

As a lifelong learner and educator, I work with individuals & organisations to increase awareness of these topics, working to embed both individual and team skills that help safeguard people’s wellbeing, prevent future problems and enable them to thrive.

Wellbeing & Mindfulness are topics which intrigue many people, but there is a lot of either low quality or repetitive information floating around about them - If you're looking for a more engaging, different, real-life introduction to what they are and how they can make our lives and work better, that's what I offer.

My background as an education specialist and school leader enables me to engage an audience and deliver key learning points in a very accessible way.

I've delivered interesting and engaging talks to many different groups of people in a variety of settings, always with great feedback. Group sizes range from 5-500 people. I am highly experienced at online Zoom delivery, having delivered hundreds of hours of workshops and talks with feedback such as:

“Best virtual course I’ve been in so far”

“ You are a true wellbeing specialist and a very good speaker! We really appreciate the time you spent with us this afternoon. I cannot recommend you enough to those who could also benefit from your very valuable knowledge. Thank you again!”

If you have any questions I'm always more than happy to answer them, just get in touch and let me know. I look forward to hearing from you and putting together a talk that both engages and genuinely helps your team.

Tom
