As the past chair of Haverhill & District u3a where I also lead the history and photographic groups I am accustomed to presenting illustrated talks on many subjects. Living in Suffolk most of the talks are based on places in the East of England and are tied to various long distance walking trails that I have had the enjoyment of walking. When doing a walk I am interested in the history and stories of the places I go through which usually leads to the basis for a talk.
