Unesco approved twenty eight sites in the UK as worthy of World Heritage status until they threw out the Liverpool waterfront. How many can you name? Each site is visited and talked about aided by photographs. You will be certain to learn and understand more about these most interesting places after watching the presentation.

During my working life I ran my own business as a financial adviser before retiring in 2015. I then became very involved with my local u3a, an organisation for people who are no longer employed full-time, and as the past chair of the local branch where I also lead the history and photographic groups I am accustomed to presenting illustrated talks on many subjects.
Living in Suffolk most of the talks are based on places in the East of England that I have had the enjoyment of visiting, either when walking or staying in an area. When creating a talk I investigate the history and stories, often unusual, of the people and places I go to which often creates the basis for a good talk.
My talks last about one hour with about two hundred slides to look at, which are all taken myself wherever possible.
