Biography:

Jane Clare DipWSET - aka One foot in the Grapes - writes about wine and offers fun, immersive, informal and informative wine tastings and talks. Her weekly syndicated drinks' column is published in more than 20 regional newspapers in the UK. Jane's talks are always peppered with humour and encouragement. You don't need to know anything about wine, but maybe have an itch to discover some basics. Jane offers Zoom themes, but is also available to travel, subject to location in the North West. Fee on application. On Zoom, Jane encourages guests to join in at home with a glass of wine, aligned to the chosen topic. Then Jane will guide people through "tasting" wine (without forgetting the fun) using professional techniques. Her home is in Crosby, Merseyside, and not far from the beach where she can often be found with Millie, her miniature schnauzer. Find Jane as One Foot in the Grapes on social media and online. Jane is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers and is also a wine educator for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
