Prosecco is the in-thing. But do you know how to spot a higher quality style of prosecco when you see it? Did you know that cava and crémant are made in the same way as champagne? Do you understand the difference between a vintage fizz and a non-vintage fizz -- or how to spot on a label which wines are dry, and which are sweet? And why they're dry or sweet? Allow Jane to open your eyes to the world of sparkling wine! This is a 75-minute Zoom interactive presentation. Jane encourages you to have a sip (or two) of the wine styles mentioned in the talk, but it's not compulsory! In the latter part of the session Jane will talk you through your wines, encouraging you to smell, taste, and discuss them using professional techniques. You don't need to know anything about wine to take part. Before the talk, Jane can offer suggestions for High Street wines to buy. When Jane has left the Zoom, guests can continue to use her link for a further unlimited chat and a catch-up. The talk can be in person, but the fee would be based on numbers and distance travelled. Jane would provide the wine. Please ask.
