Bhutan is one of the least visited and largely unknown countries in the world. Nestled in the south east corner of the Himalayas, this landlocked country is unique in that it measures not wealth but happiness. A closed country until the late 1970's TV and internet were not available until 1999.
Ken travelled by motorcycle on some of the twistiest roads in the world but this talk is about much more than riding! Visits to Buddhist temples and interaction with local people will give you an insight into this wonderfully calm and beautiful country, while learning a little more about Buddhist philosophy.
Ken always keeps a diary during this trips and writes books to expand the information from the talk. All donations for the talks, and sales of the books, are to support the Theodora Children's Charity, a small organisation that provides entertainers to hospitals around the country.
