Most people know of Petra and many will have heard of Jerash. This talk covers the two overlapping civilisations of the Nabateans and Romans who established these two amazing cities. And into the middle of this period wanders Jesus Christ. But when these cities were at their zenith, it was other Gods who held sway. Jerash disappeared under sand and detritus from more recent residents whilst Petra would eventually fade from view for many centuries. This is their story.
