Biography:

I'm Helen. I have had a keen interest in history and been a collector of vintage items for 30 years. With the collection of items, ranging in date from the 1900s - 1970s, I have created The Mobile Museum, which I take to various social groups such as WIs, history groups, lunch clubs, men's sheds, as well as care homes. This is an interactive experience which is a great opportunity for people to have a walk down memory lane and reminisce. My interest in history has extended to my dolls house, which is a grocers shop set in ww2. It has it's own Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages as 1940s Jim Turner and I have two humorous talks based around it.

My talks are light-hearted and have received very good reviews. Reviews for 1940s Jim Turner: "A brilliant talk - fun & whimsical." "It was great to hear so many laughs across the room." "Brilliant....mad, but brilliant." Reviews for The Mobile Museum: "A lovely trip down memory lane." "Great to be able to pick things up for a closer look." "A great idea. Perfect for reminiscing."

I am DBS cleared and I have public liability insurance.
