Biography:

Richard's talks reflect his broad interests. His latest book is about the Pilgrims' Way from Winchester to Canterbury, entitled 'A Very English Pilgrimage'. He has also written and published books on local history. He has appeared on radio and gives talks and presentations on various themes. Prior to retirement he enjoyed a successful business career, as well as some time as a lecturer and academic. He holds a PhD from the University of Gloucestershire. His podcasts which accompany his books are available at over-the-hill.co . He is married and lives near Wokingham in Berkshire.
