Biography:

I have an academic background in politics and history and a past career in educational management. I am interested in local history, particularly of the Amber Valley in Derbyshire.
My talks link local history to national issues giving relevance to a wider audience. Each talk tackles a controversial topic with new perspectives and challenging ideas and views.
Talks are fully illustrated PowerPoint presentations using my own equipment of 50-90 minutes in length. Talks are offered in the East Midlands and West Midlands.
