Christmas wasn’t always just tinsel, presents and choirs of angels! Darker legends from the past tell us it was a time when werewolves and trolls came out to roam the earth. For naughty children, missing out on a gift was the least of their worries. They could expect to be beaten, disembowelled or even eaten! It certainly adds a whole new meaning to the song lyric “You’d better be good, for goodness sake”. Come on an exploration of Christmases past, when Christmas was anything but White!
