Leicester Cathedral boasts a range of stained glass windows dating from the 1870s to the current date.
Our talk examines the Great East window, a memorial to those who died during the First World War, the Richard III Redemption windows, St Martin's window, St Katherine's window and St Dunstan's window. Varying widely in style, this exploration will interest any group which has an interest in the arts and stained glass in particular.

The Cathedral has recently reopened following major restoration. Having developed slideshows during the closure period, which we can take out to outside organisations, we are very keen to continue with this offer. Topics we cover include the re-interment of Richard III, a highlights tour of the Cathedral, The Cathedral windows, the Regimental Chapel - A post colonial perspective and the Leicester Cathedral Revealed project and the archaeological dig. Our talks are delivered by trained and enthusiastic Cathedral guides, whilst the slideshows have been developed to a very high standard.
If your organisation has a keen interest in history and would like us to showcase Leicester Cathedral in this way we would be delighted to hear from you.
