Britain's first long distance footpath runs 250 miles from Derbyshire to Scotland. It passes some of the finest scenery in northern England, much of it on hills but crossing valley after valley to give fascinating glimpses of the communities through which it passes. My career was half Chartered Engineer and half Chartered Ergonomics & Human Factors Consultant but I have many other interestes including: photography, fell walking, bell ringing, railways, bricks, human perception and maths.
