I delve into the hidden world of people who work in prison and do the many tasks that you would normally associate with a Police Detective. I take my audience on a journey involving drugs in a prison, with all the consequential issues involved in that.

I ask my audience to join me in an attempt to thwart the bad guys.

If you like the Police drama "Line of Duty", well this talk is the prison equivalent

About Lindsay Whitehouse

I am almost uniquely experienced within the criminal justice system. I worked for the Probation Service in Cumbria. I served as a Prison Governor at a number of different prisons in the Midlands and South West areas of England. I was the first Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex.

I have provided commentary and analysis on a number of BBC programmes, TV and radio. I have written a number of articles aimed at criminal justice professionals involved in the Youth Justice system.

I have also written some short stories, based on my experiences in prison. I have been commended from different sources

My presentations are laced with humour, facts and anecdotes; I seek to take my audience on a journey of exploration inside the murky world or prisons.
