Biography:

Originally trained in Chemistry and worked in the science field and gave training & professional talks. Now Retired from full time employment. Trained in teaching techniques in the Army and presented to large audiences of up to 250 people. Lifelong collector of Chess sets and research into Chess History. Member of the Chess Collectors International group and Editor of The Chess Collector Magazine. I have written many articles on Chess History and presented historical talks at biannual meetings. Interested in History as a hobby and have presented talks in the U3A organisation on various history subjects. I am also a member of two Science groups within the U3A and given multiple talks on various scientific subjects.
