Details of talks given by Geoff Piper
I am a retired physics teacher and have loved my life teaching and presenting lessons. I always like to add humour to my talks as I did in my lessons on the basis: if I enjoy it, the audience will. I have always loved aeroplanes which led me to become an Officer in charge of CCF RAF cadets for a total of 33 years and when I retired aged 65, I got a private pilot’s licence. Inspired by an amazingly interesting display in a wonderful air museum in New Zealand I did much research into a Kiwi pilot who, having been shot down, parachuted into my own town (Cranbrook). This led to my very successful Talk.
