Biography:

Since retiring from my role as Director of Human Resources I devote my time to writing and public speaking and have two published novels: Viking Voices and Billy's War.

The former describes the adventures of a group of Hiberno-Norse Vikings in Ireland and England in the Tenth century culminating in the burial of the Cuerdale Hoard. The latter is set in Palestine during the final years of the British Mandate 1945 to 48. In each case I offer a presentation which describes the actual history behind the novels in an engaging and entertaining manner.

I hold an M.A. in Creative Writing from Lancaster University.
