Details of talks given by Timothy Mansfield
Born in 1958, my mother was a schoolteacher and my father an Anglican priest. Raised in England’s Home Counties, I attended local state schools before receiving a degree in geography from London University. My adult life has had two tracks: I have been a self-employed carpenter/builder, and I have travelled my spiritual path with great dedication. That path took me to Andrew Cohen, a demanding and controversial spiritual figure. I was one of his students for over 20 years and I will always be grateful for his immutable expression of spiritual freedom. After his community dissolved in 2013, his reputation was traduced on social media. Contrastingly, in 2021, I published my first book, Invoking the Authentic Self, which describes and explains the community’s pioneering work. I now live in London, where I'm working on my next book.
