Jeremy Prescott served for 26 years as an Army Officer seeing operational service in Dhofar, Oman and 4 tours in Northern Ireland. After retiring from the Army he was appointed as CEO of a charity covering Leics and Rutland which supported rural communities. In this role he facilitated 6 successful bids to the Lottery for over £1m. In 2013 in order to help communities in their own commemoration of the 100th anniversary of WW1 he developed the “Sacrifice and Remembrance” project delivering presentations on that theme - After retiring from the charity after 18 years he has further developed this project and now presents on 14 different topics. To date these talks have been given in over 450 venues to 16,000 people. As a result of the Covid - 19 crisis he has been offering these presentations via Zoom across the country. He does these presentations entirely on a voluntary basis but encourages donations to Combat Stress - The Veterans Mental Health Charity. To date he has raised over £26,000 for Combat Stress. He now lives in Southsea Hants
