An informative, yet light hearted look, at the conservation projects that I have been involved with, both Overseas and in the UK. Including comparing the different techniques that are used to manage the rare species and their incredible habitats.
This will be carried out by using a Power Point presentation, showing the amazing species as well as some of the funnier sides of my adventures there.

Hello, my name is Andrew. I left school at 16 years old without any qualifications. I had worked my school holidays and at weekends on farms. So when I left school I was lucky enough to land a position as a Shepherd with a 1,000 sheep and two dogs, June and Fly. I worked in many different aspects of the agricultural until I switched to the horticultural industry, both working in commercial and amenity.
At the age of 30 I decided that I would like to go to university. I ended up going to four different universities and gained several degrees in Ecology, Horticulture and Palaeontology. After university I worked as a Biology, around the World, on different conservation projects, and back in the UK as a Coastal Ranger, working for different councils and the National Trust.
I have a great passion for Fossils and the Natural World and have been very lucky to have had some fantastic adventures, with some very funny, almost unbelievable experiences that have happened along the way.
