Based on my own journeys to the Weddell Sea following the route of Shackleton's Endurance Expedition, from the incredible wildlife on South Georgia, Deep into the Weddell Sea to see Emperor Penguins, across the Weddell Sea to land on Elephant Island where Shackleton's man sheltered for 4 months.
Views: 23 | Enquiries: 0I am a retired communications engineer. In 2023 I visited Antarctica, caught the polar bug, and have since returned four times and counting... My talks are based on my own experiences and the heroic age of exploration (Scott, Shackleton etc.), backed up with some great photos, a few anecdotes, my passion for the continent, and lots of penguins!!
I have a website which gives more details: https://www.journeystoantarctica.co.uk/
