About Graeme MacPherson

ABOUT ME: I’m an accredited member of the International Guild of Battlefield Guides and also a volunteer with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. With over 37 years of military experience, both full-time and part-time, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles including: Garrison Commander, Assessor at the Army Officer Selection Board and Commanding Officer of a Reserve Regiment.

WHAT I DO: When I’m not leading battlefield tours, history walks, or conducting research, I share my knowledge and passion for history with groups and organisations across Sussex, Surrey, and Kent. While many of my talks focus on military history, I’ve found that many of my subjects are appealing to a wide audience.

WHAT I OFFER. I prefer to deliver my presentations in person but am also able to facilitate online presentations. Each presentation lasts between 45 mins and 1 hr. All can be tailored to the needs of your group. I require a suitable screen or wall to project onto.
