Our modern conception of jewellery is that of personal decoration and adornment. This talk explores the proposition that the original motive for jewellery in Ancient Egypt was religious and purely functional. From armbands to ankle bands, and from pectorals to headbands, this talk explores the curious phenomenon of the origins of jewellery in Ancient Egypt.

A Doctor of Mathematics, I am an accomplished, entertaining and experienced speaker.
