The Enneagram is an ancient symbol associated with the number 9, linking the sequence of numbers 3, 6 and 9 on the one hand, and 1, 4, 2, 8, 5 and 7 on the other. This talk gives examples of how the number 9 appears in the world through myth and legend. It also explains how the Enneagram is related to π, the mathematical symbol equal to 3.142857 recurring, the constant ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. It explores the inner dynamics of the structure of the Enneagram, introducing the extraordinary concept of Rocker Bars, and how the human body itself is a temple of 9. The talk will appeal to those who are curious about how a symbol can capture the eternal in the now.
