This talk looks at the SAS operation on Gibraltar in March 1988 where three IRA terrorists were shot in broad daylight one Sunday afternoon - I cover the build up and context to the operation, the main actors, what actually happened on the day, the subsequent inquest and other court proceedings and the sad, unintended consequences felt in Northern Ireland.
The talk is accompanied by PowerPoint slides.
