This interactive session is designed to help participants pause, take stock and move forward with intention. Through guided reflection, personal insight activities and gentle conversation, I support people to reconnect with what matters to them and gain clarity on their next steps — in life, work or wellbeing.

We explore how reflection can help make sense of where we’ve been, understand our values and strengths, and set meaningful priorities for the future. The space is supportive, energising and honest, with time to think, share and plan.

The session is best delivered as a 3-hour workshop and includes reflection tools and worksheets. It can also be adapted for shorter formats or split into two sessions if needed. I offer this session in person, online or as a hybrid event.

This workshop has been delivered to organisations including Unloc, where it supported staff in reflecting on what they had achieved during the academic year and helped them reset priorities before the new term. One participant shared:

“Tara delivered a fantastic session getting us to focus on our priorities, both personal and professional. The opportunity to reflect on the last year was invaluable, particularly during the summer holidays before the new year starts.” — Jade, Unloc

Ideal for team development, staff wellbeing days, women’s networks or any group navigating growth, transition or change. Recommended group size: up to 15 participants.

About Dr Tara Goddard

I'm a personal development coach, speaker and educator passionate about helping people grow with clarity and confidence. Originally from Barbados, I moved to the UK in 2013 to complete a PhD in Marketing, and since then I’ve built a life and career grounded in reflection, learning and meaningful connection.

I bring together academic experience, coaching expertise and my lived experience as a Black Caribbean woman and immigrant. That combination helps me connect with a wide range of audiences and create spaces where people feel safe to pause, reflect and take action. Whether I’m leading a workshop, delivering a keynote or speaking in a community setting, I aim to bring energy, compassion and structure to every session.

My delivery and materials consistently receive positive feedback for their clarity, practicality and ability to support learning across different formats and settings. Audiences often tell me they leave feeling more grounded, motivated and clear about their next steps. My higher education background, facilitation and coaching experience mean that I’m experienced in designing tailored sessions that meet the specific needs of different groups, ensuring each experience feels relevant, meaningful and supportive.
