The cycle of nature and science is given a brief overview. Planet earth is described and its history summarised. Human intevention is given some detailed focus and this is followed by the way we can understand and mitigate.

The talk is based on a series of articles published in Crisis Response Journal and other publications

About Matt Minshall

Matt spent over twenty years in the British Army and has since been self-employed working across a range of subjects.
He is the Founder of Mayamn a project which seeks to inform on the need for a sustainable future. In support of this he is an Associate and frequent author for Crisis Response Journal for which he writes on the crises of climate change. Connected to this he is a Council Member of the Cloud Appreciation Society, which he supports both for the science and the beauty.
From deep experience of the Middle East he co-founded Beyond Language a service which provide briefings and seminars on Arab culture for individuals and groups. He is an Ambassador for Resolution, a charity which assists servicemen and women suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder to return to a more normal life.
Matt is also a member of the Guild of Battlefield Guides. He can speak on the full range of topics of his experience and can adapt them to suit audience focus.
