A Persian miniature painting is an imaginative representation figures and places to tell stories.The usual subjects are garden, hunting, polo, poetry and heroic events. Javad also describe tools, materials and techniques used in the past and the present time. There will be a small display of printed materials and Javad's own paintings on ivory and bones.

About Dr Javad Hashemi-Tafreshi

Dr Javad Hashemi was borne in Tehran,Iran.He taught Biology and Science Education at University of Tehran. he then came to UK where he met his wife and worked at NCR and Local Government Education Departments. He is a keen photographer, a Lepidopterist and a Pocillovist. He practices Persian Miniature Paintings and, enjoy travelling, Natural history and research on British history and ceramics

I bring my own Apple Mac + a compatible projector and a stand.
