Cornwall has a rich tradition of folklore and folktales, stories of witches and giants, spriggans and piskies.
Whilst researching his historical fantasy novel, Gorse, Sam became engrossed in these stories, and in this talk will cover some of his favourites, as well as some lesser known tales that he's discovered along the way.
Sam is an author living in Cornwall, his debut novel, Gorse, will publish in autumn 2024.

He was signed by John Baker and Julie Gourinchas at the Bell, Lomax Morton agency in 2022, and Gorse and its sequel Ragwort was acquired by Solaris Publishing in 2023, to publish late 2024.
