Organisations often talk of vision, mission and values but rarely of purpose – the reason they exist beyond commercial fulfilment – yet 'purpose' should be the divining rod that guides decision and action.

As Simon Sinek famously said, "Find your Why".

In this talk, I cover the power of purpose to galvanise, align and attract people. And how it can define a vision, shape a mission and ground a set of values.

As humans, we prefer boundaries in which to perform with confidence – Purpose provides that space to focus on and work within.

About Sean Masters

I specialise in creative and critical thinking – meaning, I find clarity in complexity – to overcome people-centric communication challenges. Namely:

  • Problems with business culture
  • Engaging stakeholder communities
  • Attracting better customers

I work with ambitious business leaders
(including agencies and non-profits) who have a clear strategy for growth. They know their WHAT and their WHY but struggle with the HOW. I help them exploit what they excel at to find their ZING.

At the heart of my approach are two fundamentals – Clarity & Direction – with these locked down everything is possible.

I have over two decades of hands-on creative agency and business-building experience, with a few awards under my belt. And have worked with a wide range of niches and industries, including automotive, aviation, construction, higher education, non-profit, manufacturing, tech and service.

I’m the practical guy in the room (and depending on who you talk to, I'm also the ringmaster, growth stimulator, sounding board, agent of change, pragmatist, and ‘that tall skinny guy’), using strategies, audits and a suite of tools to move everyone forward.
