In this talk, Jon will draw upon personal experience of normalising his own blood sugar, and extensive knowledge of human metabolism, nutrition, and health coaching to provide top tips for turning around your Type 2 diabetes.

Taking the approach outlined in the talk, remission from diabetes is achievable within 3 months for a significant number of people and around 50% ,of people taking this approach achieve drug free remission, so it is a very realistic prospect for you.

Previous clients have reported huge benefits to other health markers along the way, including:

  • Significant and sustained weight loss
  • More energy and vitality to live life to the full
  • Better skin condition
  • Improved blood pressure and cholesterol
  • Ability to have an operation

About Dr Jonathan P Furniss

Qualified health coach, working for the Public Health Collaboration charity, and as an independent metabolic health coach and consultant, providing measurement services that allow deep insight into your state of metabolic health, and therefore risk of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, dementia, and some cancers: I.e. most chronic disease of modern Western societies.

Our diabetes remission programme has similar results to Dr David Unwin, a nationally recognised NHS GP who now has 50% of the those who opt for the programme in drug free remission.

I am a Type 1 diabetic, and among the best controlled in the country. The insights i have gained along the way, combined with my background of an engineering PhD (grounding me in root cause analysis), makes me uniquely positioned to inform and support diabetics, people living with obesity and other metabolic diseases.

I am experienced in presenting to small and large groups on the subjects of:

  • Metabolic health
  • Nutrition for physical and mental health
  • controlling and reversing Type 2 diabetes
  • normalising blood sugar in Type 1 diabetes
  • Exercise and nutrition
  • Avoidance of chronic disease
