Our friendly and informative talks are a great way to help your group understand more about kidney health and the impact kidney disease can have on individuals, families and communities.

Our talks cover:

• What your kidneys do and why they are so important
• How to look after your kidney health
• Risk factors for developing kidney disease
• Understanding kidney disease and the importance of early detection
• Organ donation and the difference it can make
• Lived experience, shared by someone impacted by CKD as a patient, carer or donor

We’ll also share an online kidney health checker, giving attendees the opportunity to find out whether they may be at higher or lower risk of developing kidney disease.

Talks can be delivered online or in person, making them suitable for community groups, organisations, workplaces, schools and a wide range of audiences.

Kidney disease affects nearly 195,000 people across Wales, so raising awareness, early detection and encouraging people to look after their kidney health is more important than ever.
