Nearly 195,000 people in Wales are living with stage 3 or higher chronic kidney disease (CKD), yet many people are unaware they may be at risk.

Why not invite Kidney Wales to deliver a free Kidney Health Awareness Talk to your group or organisation?

Our friendly and informative talks cover:

  • What our kidneys do and why they are so important
  • How to look after your kidney health
  • The risk factors for developing kidney disease
  • Understanding kidney disease and the importance of early detection
  • Organ donation and the difference it can make
  • Lived experience from someone impacted by CKD as a patient, carer or donor

We will also share our online kidney health checker, giving attendees the opportunity to find out whether they may be at higher or lower risk of kidney disease.

Our talks can be delivered online or in person and are suitable for community groups, organisations, workplaces, schools and a wide range of audiences.

By raising awareness, we hope to encourage more people to understand their kidney health, recognise the risk factors and take action early.
