Details of talks given by Dr Clare Roberts-Molloy
Dr Clare Roberts-Molloy is a professional speaker, Public Speaking and Mindset Coach, TEDx organoser and curator and the Founder and CEO of period poverty charity Periods Matter.
An experienced and engaging speaker, Clare speaks on topics including confidence, courage, public speaking, women’s voices, midlife, mindset and taking action.
Drawing on her own experiences alongside more than 15 years of developing speakers, leaders and professionals, her talks combine powerful storytelling with practical insights audiences can take away and use.
Her professional speaking topics include Midlife is a Catalyst, Not a Crisis, exploring the opportunities that can emerge when women stop seeing midlife as something to survive and start seeing it as a catalyst for change
One Day Became Day One, an inspiring talk about courage, action and finally doing the things we tell ourselves we will do “one day”; and
It’s Never Too Late, challenging the belief that age or circumstance should determine what we do next.
Clare also speaks about women finding and using their voice, confidence and overcoming the fear of speaking, imposter syndrome, visibility and the importance of taking up space.
As the Founder and Curator of TEDxWolverhampton, she has created opportunities for more than 100 people to step onto a TEDx stage and share their ideas.
Alongside her professional speaking, Clare offers talks connected to her work as Founder and CEO of Periods Matter, a charity tackling period poverty and improving access to menstrual products, education and information.
Her charity talks explore period poverty in the UK, why access to period products is about much more than simply providing pads and tampons, the impact period poverty can have on education, employment, dignity and participation, and why menstrual health remains an issue we need to talk about more openly.
Clare can also share the story of Periods Matter, from recognising a need in her own community to creating a charity that has distributed thousands of period product packs, supported thousands of people and contributed to wider conversations, education and campaigning around menstruation and menstrual health.
Whether speaking about finding your voice, making change in midlife or breaking the silence around periods, there is a common thread running through Clare’s work: creating spaces, places and platforms that enable people, particularly women and girls, to be heard, participate fully and create change.
