After a business life during which I delivered a series of talks to Rotary Clubs in between travelling across the world to establish my chemical company, I retired in 1995 to a life of golf, voluntary work and writing. My first novel was published in 2015, and I was invited to read from another of my works, a short memoir, at the West Cork Literary Festival in 2017. Then followed my grand project: 'Charles and Charlie', Book I of The Stoker Trilogy, was published in 2020; Book II, 'The Tally Man', in 2022; and Book III, 'Acceptance', was released in 2024. Several of my poems have been published in various magazines and anthologies; and also online by The Society of Classical Poets. Recently, I completed my memoirs, which are soon to be published, and I am currently working on a project which, with musical interludes to illustrate, tells the story of Beethoven's life in terms of what he did for classical music. When completed this will provide three separate presentations.
