I am an independent agricultural consultant, having established my business 5 years ago on the back of the need for farmers to farm closer to nature. I got the farming bug from working on the family's small holding then after agricultural college I ran the pig farm, while lambing and relief milking. I later milked on Salisbury Plain and Progressed up to managing 500 dairy cows in Dorset and Hampshire. later I also farmed in the Cotswolds on a mixed organic farm Recently I work with Barbers Cheese carbon footprinting farms and their Nature Positive scheme.
