Biography:

Not your typical opera singer… Grace Lovelass is a mezzo soprano who brings to life opera, classical, musical theatre and pop ballads with a rich, dramatic tone and a flair for story-telling.

Often appearing as a concert soloist across Dorset and the South West, she also tours her own shows and collaborative productions around the UK and Europe.

A well-loved public speaker, Grace gives talks to the Women’s Institute and similar organisations about her training and life as a singer and endurance athlete. The latter referring specifically to her completion of three, full-distance Ironman triathlons, a 500km bike ride through Kenya’s national parks, and more recently, trail marathons and ultra distance events.

An advocate for strength training – especially for women in mid and later life – Grace was inspired to create Train Antiope. Informed by her Classics degree and an unshakeable fascination with the Amazons of mythology, she now helps women to strengthen mind, body and voice through connection with their inner warrior.

Grace is also a visual artist. She draws and paints mostly figurative art. Inspired by the human body, and especially the female form, she creates works in celebration of dancers, legendary women and embodiments of the female psyche.
