I was a professional newspaper photographer for over thirty years, twenty five of which were based in and around Blackpool, and it this period that my talk is based on. I also finally achieved a lifelong ambition in 2018 when my first novel Murmuration was published, which was also inspired by Blackpool and the people I met through my work there. I am now retired from the newspaper industry and have returned to my native South Yorkshire, where I write and produce a variety of art and landscape photography
