Biography:

I'm an experienced speaker with a particular interest in helping people think for themselves. I find that putting thinking first helps people find the clarity and courage to make better decisions, communicate more effectively, and commit to real change.

Formerly a UK Senior Civil Servant, I enjoy and prioritise working with public sector and social purpose organisations. I have spent the last decade designing and leading webinars, workshops and programmes on topics like strategic thinking, leadership and policy development, delivering these for public servants and policy partners in the UK, Devolved Administrations and overseas.

My focus on thinking extends to supporting, and advocating for, more thoughtful, quieter or introverted folks. A happy introvert myself, I'm interested in how we can change the unwritten rules and expectations about how we 'should' be at work and in our lives in order to make the most of our quieter strengths.

I have trained extensively in the Thinking Environment, a way of going about things which sparks and sustains independent thinking. I am also a qualified Strengths Profile practitioner, a trained Action Learning Set facilitator, and a member of the Association for Coaching.

In my free time, I am a long-distance runner and Vice Chair of Governors for my local Further Education College group.
