An experienced and well-connected freelance journalist, content creator and author, Tom Johnston has managed to make a success of it on both sides of the media fence – as a writer with numerous top national publications, and as a PR manager with several well-known brands. He spent more than a decade at award-winning Auto Express magazine, was a feature writer for the Daily Star and has contributed to countless other newspapers, magazines and websites. He has also headed up the UK press offices of the American car giant Jeep and the classic Italian marque Fiat. Married with three children, five grandchildren and a laptop, he still loves news reporting, creating web content and writing speeches - including some of his own.
