Biography:

My Life As A Bluebell Girl Cabaret artiste, Can-Can dancer, singer, magicians assistant, Mum, dinner-lady, you name it, Jane has had a go! Throughout her life she has managed to carve a career in entertainment. Her proudest moment has to be performing at the world famous Lido de Paris on the Champs Élysées for Miss Bluebell. But, it’s not always been an easy ride – Jane’s buoyant sense of humour has always helped to see her through a few unexpected dramas... Join Jane to hear her extraordinary story, a real trip down memory lane, told through song, dance and hilarious descriptions of life on the road during the 70's and 80's

Surviving breast cancer in later life, Jane now donates a portion of her fee to LILAC NORFOLK funding patient support, bursaries for medical research students and much needed equipment at the breast unit at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, as well as spreading awareness of symptoms.

Kirton & Falkenham W.I: Thank you so much for a truly entertaining afternoon - hearing about your career as a dancer, show girl and Bluebell Girl was fascinating. All the W.I. ladies said how much they enjoyed your presentation; lots of information for us about the world of dance, with a large dose of humour! We were pleased to support the charity LILAC, a very worthy cause. I read your book whilst on holiday. A great read! Barbara

Fressingfield WI: Thank you, Jane, for your wonderful talk at the Group WI meeting hosted by Fressingfield WI last night. You had us laughing, crying, humming along, remembering our own childhoods as well as amazed at your achievements, travels and tenacity. Thank you. Hope we meet again soon!
