About Jane Hoggar

My Life As A Bluebell Girl,

With such a colourful past, Jane has created three talks My Life as a Bluebell Girl, Parisian Cabaret and Magic of the Musicals. Having tread the boards as a showgirl, singer and Can-Can dancer during the 80's, Jane has so many tales to tell, delivered with powerful vocals and wonderful humour. Bluebell Girl reminds us of the 70's lifestyle, Top of the Pops, Pans People, Kayes catelogue and Sony Walkmans. We are then taken on her rollercoaster ride as she becomes a glamorous showgirl on tour, eventually spotted by the world famous Margaret Kelly, Miss Bluebell of Paris. This is a treat as Jane shares what it was really like to work at the Lido de Paris on the Champs Elysee. Parisian cabaret is a musical history of 19th century theatres of Montmartre, songs and stories from Les Miserables, Edith Piaf and Josephine Baker. Magic of the Musicals was created for audiences that had seen the two previous shows but wanted more. The show speaks for itself! With powerful vocals and delightful humour, the audience leaves feeling lifted and thoroughly entertained. Janes memoir is available to buy at the event.
